Shantell and I are back for yet another season of the NelTel on Everything podcast. These questions listed above will be a constant feature for all of our guests who join us on the podcast. Not only do we pose these questions to our featured guests, we want to know what are some things you want to leave in 2020….etc
Things we are leaving in 2020.
For Shantell; A lack of control over time
This is a biggie because naturally as the givers we are, we tend to put more on us than we should. Carrying the load of others, working overtime , giving access to people and things that literally drain or deplete us from our own productivity.
For Channel ; leaving people perceptions at the door.
It’s easier said then done to let go of what people think of you, how they feel about you and following how they want you to do a thing. It is evident that people’s perception has it’s hold on you when you have done nothing or very little to make yourself happy like simply fulfilling some desires you have for yourself.
The fruit of people’s perception in your life can lead to a lack of fulfillment in what you want to do. A people pleasing mentality will indeed leave you stagnant to your potential.
Learning and being secure in who you are, knowing yourself and having people in your life that will continually motivate your passion and aid to your ideas is what will help you to have a secure sense of stability in who you are.
From Shantell and Channel; carrying the inspiration and drive to start something and follow thru.
2020 opened up opportunities for a lot of new entrepreneurs. In spite of it being a global pandemic, businesses were started. It ignited people to start, to take the foot off the brakes and go after all the things they wanted to do.
What we are picking up? Shantell and I both agree that we definitely want to stay grounded in our faith. Our assurance comes from God- having a relationship (prayer life-mediating on the Word of God) helps us to not deviate from God’s plan and works in our lives as well as strengthening our confidence that we are doing purposeful work in everything that we do.
